A reformed EU that embodies the needs of European citizens

I want to see a reformed EU that embodies the needs of European citizens. The EU has lost its social appearance and needs to be restored to what it looked like in the 1970s and 1980s. A key driver for all of us – European politicians – should be to reduce distrust in the EU institutions and to overcome their perception of them as something abstract, distant and ineffective.

Rebuilding the EU's social image and caring for people

As a socialist, I regret to note the serious devaluation of the EU’s social image and its concern for people. A serious aspect of my activity will be directed at developing measures and proposals for the restoration of Social Europe, to fill the content of the Social Pillar, while continuing the efforts of the left of the previous EP to guarantee the rights of the workers, to reduce social disparities and to offer better opportunities for young people to develop.

Tourism and transport policies that are in line with the national interest of our country

I will work for policies in the field of tourism and transport that are in harmony with the national interest of our country. My goal is to maintain the competitiveness of our transport industry. Therefore, I will concentrate my work on measures to limit the growing divide between Eastern and Western Europe in the field.

Protection of the rule of law and the rule of law

The rule of law and the rule of law are my top priorities. This also goes against anti-corruption measures (especially on the high floors), with unaccountable, irresponsible and inefficient spending of EU funds without concrete results, as well as guaranteeing the independence of the judiciary.
